The M.1–3 English Program (EP) students enjoyed a memorable excursion to Kanchanaburi, combining learning, cultural experiences, and time to build friendships outside the classroom.
Excursions are an important part of student life because learning does not always have to happen behind a desk. A new environment gives students opportunities to observe, experience, communicate, and learn from the world around them.
During the excursion, students had the opportunity to experience a different side of Thailand while spending time together as a group. Away from their normal school routines, they could explore their surroundings, interact with one another, and take part in hands-on experiences.
For our M.1–3 EP students, the trip also provided opportunities to practise communication and teamwork in a relaxed environment. Students from different year levels could spend time together, share experiences, and develop stronger relationships with their classmates.
One of the highlights of the excursion was the opportunity for students to sit together and enjoy a meal. Moments like these may seem simple, but they are an important part of a successful school trip. Students were able to talk, laugh, help one another, and enjoy the experience together.
The photographs from the excursion capture the energy of the day: students working together, enjoying food, talking with friends, and making memories.
Kanchanaburi offers a rich combination of natural surroundings, local culture, and history. Visiting a province with such a distinctive environment gives students a chance to connect what they learn in school with real-world experiences.
An excursion also encourages students to become more independent. They learn to manage their belongings, follow schedules, cooperate with teachers and classmates, and behave responsibly in a different environment.
The M.1–3 EP Excursion 2026 was more than simply a day away from school. It was an opportunity for students to learn, explore, communicate, and grow together.
For teachers, seeing students interact outside the classroom provides a different perspective on their personalities and relationships. For students, the trip creates memories that can stay with them long after they return to school.
As the students continue their journey through the English Program, experiences like this help build a stronger sense of community and remind us that some of the best learning happens when we step outside the classroom.
